Quality music education is one of Alexander’s primary ambitions. He has taught as a lecturer in the Jazz department of Yerevan State Conservatory and has given workshops and lessons internationally at institutions such as: American School of the Hague (NL), Jazzcursus Halewynstichting (BE), Arsenal Center for the Arts (US), Musikhaus Wolfsburg (DE), and Jazzworks Eindhoven (NL).
Areas of focus include: Improving Guitar Technique and Understanding of the Instrument, Understanding Music Theory, Reading and Writing Musical Notation, Learning how to Improvise, Composition & Arrangement Skills, Music Technology Hardware and Software, Ensemble Coaching, Class Assistance and Tutoring, University/Conservatory Preparation.
